My travel story

I'm Viktoria Tarba, a Layla Travel Advisor based in Berlin, Germany. My background in design has shaped the way I approach travel planning: understanding people's needs, paying attention to the details and finding ways to make every experience more personal. I love researching interesting places and bringing together destinations, restaurants, activities and local discoveries to create trips that feel unique to each traveller.

My interest in travel planning comes from a combination of design, customer service and a curiosity about how people experience the world. I enjoy exploring different possibilities, understanding individual preferences and finding ways to make a journey more thoughtful, intuitive and memorable.

For me, planning a trip is much more than putting together a list of places to visit. It's about creating something for real people, knowing that the recommendations and details I research will become experiences they enjoy in real life.

What travellers say

One of the most rewarding pieces of feedback I've received was from a customer who was extremely happy because the trip was exactly what she had asked for. It reinforced what I believe makes great travel planning: understanding what someone truly wants and translating that into the right recommendations and experiences.

[Aleks] gave us great advice about experiences, restaurants and stuff like buses from the sites into towns. A very good experience all round with the AI and especially the nice human!!
GGraham, UKPlanned with Aleks · Trustpilot
Not only did they find us the exact requirements we asked for they provided us with multiple options to select from. We arranged a quick call to confirm our selection and we honestly had the best day.

What I liked most about Layla.ai is that I was able to build a wonderful trip without having a clear idea about where I wanted to go or what I wanted to do. I posed several concepts based on my interests, and Layla.ai created multiple itineraries for me to choose from. I'm glad to report my trust was rewarded. Beyond describing my interests and having a call, I didn't have to do much and everything about my trip worked perfectly.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you personally. Thank you for the straightforward, fast, and personal support. It was a lot of fun, and I really like your approach. You can feel the interest, readiness, and commitment at every step of the way from the initial idea to the booking. Top!

Where I can help you travel

I'm particularly interested in helping travellers discover places beyond the usual tourist attractions. I enjoy researching local neighbourhoods, hidden gems, interesting restaurants and experiences that allow you to connect with a destination in a more personal way.

I also have a particular interest in fashion, shopping and local brands. Having lived in Milan, I've developed an appreciation for the city's shopping culture and for distinctive places that reflect local identity, design and craftsmanship.

My specialities

Discovering places beyond the tourist trail. I love finding hidden gems, local neighbourhoods and experiences you might not discover on your own. I'll look beyond the obvious recommendations to find places that match your interests and introduce you to a different side of your destination.

Tailor-made itineraries. Every traveller is different, so I believe every itinerary should reflect the person taking the journey. I'll research the possibilities, bring together the right destinations and experiences, and carefully consider how everything fits together. My aim is to create a journey that feels personal and distinctive, rather than following a standard itinerary.

Shopping, fashion and local discoveries. From independent boutiques and local brands to distinctive stores and shopping neighbourhoods, I enjoy helping travellers discover places that match their personal tastes. My time in Milan strengthened my interest in fashion and design, and I love finding shopping experiences that go beyond the most obvious streets.

Whatever your interests, I'll take the time to understand what you enjoy and research options that suit you. I think about every detail as part of the bigger picture, making sure each recommendation contributes to a journey that feels considered, coherent and personal.
